Well the last post was how Jack decided to go to work with me. Well I came home yesterday to have Laurel tell me this latest little ditty. We have foyer and there is a door that separates the foyer and the hall to the living room. This door has a deadbolt, which is handy in running containment on wildman. Well this has basically resulted in me being locked out of the house multiple times and because of the shere massiveness of the house La may or may not hearing me banging on the door. So we solved this by giving me a key to the foyer deadbolt. Come to find out you can't have a key in both sides, you can only have one in the key hole. So we solved this yet again by putting the key above the light switch in the hallway before you exit to the foyer. This last a few days before Jack found a solution to his problem. La tells me that Jack, on multiple occasions has grabbed the slender tube of wrapping paper and uses the it to knock the key down off the light switch and unlock the door. It amazes me that his little 20 month old mind is capable of problem solving like that. Needless to say after La found him plaing in the front bathroom we quickly moved the key to an even more secluded location. It would seem that we have grossly understimated Jack's enginuity. Guess that doesn't say much about our own problem solving skills.
