So as of yesterday our house is under contract. ...it took less than a month to sell our house, the large items we were planning to individually sell will be included with the house per the request of the buyers, and the buyers need to move into the house quickly. Let me point out the obvious...typically it takes longer than a month to sell a home, people usually have their own furniture, and people typically have to sell their house before they can move into another home. I don't think I can describe with words how awesome that is. I have no idea why the Lord gives us so much favor, but I can definitely say we are beyond grateful.

I thought it important to point out "the santa clause" idea that Laurel blogged about a while back. Its funny how we know people but don't really KNOW them. Perhaps from an outsiders perspective it seems like we only speak about the things the Lord has done for us. Which would imply that we only receive things. We are not just mere takers of gifts. In fact a relationship isn't a relationship if one person is always the giver and the other always the receiver of things.

Our real hearts desire is to simply know the Lord more. And that is done like any other real relationship. The best example I can think of is how Laurel and I interact. She knows me so well that she can actually accurately predict what I'm thinking or my opinion in any given situation. And our individual relationships with the Lord is even more intimate than our husband and wife relationship. The simplicity of being in a real relationship with Jesus is what makes knowing Him that much more beautilful.
